Machine Operators Wanted – $42.69/hr + Super | Afternoon Shift

We’re hiring skilled Machine Operators to join a busy and growing steel manufacturing company in North Brisbane.

This is a great opportunity for someone with steel or sheet metal experience who wants reliable work, great pay, and the chance to build a career with a successful company.

What’s on offer:

• $42.69 per hour + super + OT paid at penalty rates
  
• Afternoon shift: 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday
  
• Overtime available, including a rotating Saturday shift

The role:

• Operate steel and sheet metal production machinery
  
• Read and follow production drawings
  
• Complete quality checks on finished products
  
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
  
• Work with a team to meet daily production targets
  

About you:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a steel or sheet metal environment
• Experience with equipment such as:
  • Roll forming machines
  • Overhead cranes
  • Guillotines
  • Brake presses
  • Folding machines
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Valid forklift licence required (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable transport and full Australian work rights
